This toy is a perfect fit for little hands when made in size “medium” and is very durable once complete. It’s the first toy that my 8 month old niece goes for when looking for something to hold onto.

This pattern includes instructions to knit Baby Nessie with 4 different needle and yarn size suggestions. The size shown in the picture is the Amigurumi sized Nessie measuring about 3.5 inches in length and 2 inches high.

The body of Baby Nessie is knit in the round with size 000, 0, 3 or 4 double pointed needles. Spikes and feet are knit flat with the same needles and sewn on for a difficulty level of intermediate.
