This cardigan is seamless and worked top-down with a round yoke. The button band is knit on after the body of the sweater is complete. Buttonholes may be put on either band. The Little Crowns pattern continues all around the sweater, not just on the front.

The yoke, including the upper sleeves, are worked flat. The sleeves are put on holders or waste yarn when you reach the underarm area, then the lower body is continued. The lower portion of the sleeves are worked in the round using your choice of needles to do so.
