These baby rabbits are a fun way to learn to knit whether you are young or young at heart.

They use my favourite stitch – the simple and perfect knit stitch.

The finished rabbits make breakfast fun by being a warm cover for a boiled egg or you could use them as a thoughtful addition to a chocolate egg to give as a gift to a friend or loved one.

If using natural fibres (that are not machine washable) they are easy to felt in the washing machine and then became a hat for your egg.
If using machine washable merino yarn then they good as they are.

They are easy to make personal with embellishments like buttons for eyes or embroidering a little face on them.
