This is a very simple and quick ami that is crochet all in ONE piece. There are no seams to sew, no parts to attach. When you are done, all you need do is weave in the tail and nose end yarns. Be warned, these are highly addictive to make. Kids love them and they are a lot easier to take care of than a real mouse or rat - but please do supervise children who do not yet know it isn’t a good idea to try to swallow a yarn critter.

They also make great cat toys if you stuff them with a safe cotton stuffing and mix in a bit of catnip with it! You can use any yarn you like and a hook that is one to three sizes smaller than what is recommended on the ball band. Size of your rat
or mouse will depend on the yarn choice.
