This is my Baby Silkey Stripey Sun Suit knitting pattern. Its from my new madmonkeybabyknits range. All of these designs will make your baby stand out in a crowd and use luxurious yet affordable yarns. I have chosen RYC Luxury cotton (with 5% silk) for the main colour and Debbie Bliss Pure silk for the contrast colours. I bought these yarns on Ebay for only a few pounds per ball/skein.
The sun suit has been especially designed to be easy to get on and off. There is a crossover neckline so no matter how big baby’s head is it won’t get stuck and the pants are knitted in one piece and simply elasticated at the top. These designs are also very simple so you do not have to be very skilled to get a great result.
