Worsted Weight yarn

I do quite a bit of crocheting for charity and for friends with newborns so I wanted something a little more interesting than just a basic baby hat, and wanting “something sweet” immediately brought to mind “cupcakes” -- sooooo…

Here it is. It works up quickly using whatever small scraps of various colors, additionally you could do an amigurumi “cherry” on top in place of a pompom if you felt ambitious.
