These knits are worked flat on a pair of 2.75mm and 3.25mm (US2 and US3) single pointed needles, and you will only need 1 x 50gm 4 Ply ball of each colour for a hat and mittens set in any of these sizes.

Use any 4ply / or sport) yarn that knits on 3.25mm (US2) needles to the tension listed below. The knits shown here are knitted in Bergere De France Caline 4ply.
