A wonderful first Christmas stocking to knit and felt, for a special baby’s first festive visit from Santa.
The small stocking is ideal as a gift bag or decoration. The larger size will hold lots of goodies for Christmas morning!

This stocking is easily knitted and has no complicated heel to turn. If you have never knitted a sock you can still knit this stocking! Then transform into felt by simply washing it!

My clear and detailed instructions guide you step by step through knitting, making up and felting this project. I’ve included lots of additional tips and advice to make knitting this project easy and fun.

You will receive 2 full sets of instructions so you can choose between simply knitting on 2 needles using stocking stitch, or knitting in the round.

Recommended yarn:-

If you wish to use a substitute yarn: –
Feltro, Twilleys Freedom Wool, Schoeller and Stahl Filzi, Use single strands.

If using a substitute yarn your project may felt to a different size, you may also have problems with the knitting felting shut. This can be avoided by putting plastic bags inside the project during felting.
