I always liked to make my children’s outfits for
Christmas; it helped to make the celebration
more special. This one was patterned after one
I made my daughter in velvet. Done in a rich
green with black collar and accents, it is sure to
be perfect for her first holiday season.

Required Skills:
Knitting in the round, understanding of simultaneous shaping (armholes, neckline, etc.), seed stitch (in the round and flat), three-needle bind-off, picking up sts, short rows using wrap and turn, I-cord, basic crochet skills
