Worked from the top down, this stranded colourwork sweater is designed to be worn oversized and cropped. Try it with high-waisted pants or skirts, or over a dress.

It’s named for the distinctive half-circle shape of a Baccarat table, but also for a fashion house where British designer Bill Gibb launched his career.

Choosing a Size: This sweater is designed to be worn with 6-8” of positive ease in the bust. If you plan to work it longer, adjust your size selection down to a closer fit in the bust to compensate for the changed proportions.

Getting Gauge: If necessary, change needles to get the same gauge in stranded colourwork and plain stockinette. Sample was knit using the same needles for plain stockinette and twisted ribbing sections, but one size larger for the colourwork yoke.
