This pattern is great for a first time knitter of fingerless gloves, as there is no lace. Although this is a basic fingerless glove pattern the gloves do have asymmetrical thumbs. The pattern is written for 2 sizes. One for an average female and one for a smaller hand. These gloves may be knit with either double points or circulars in the length you prefer (magic loop or short circular).

The gloves begin and end with a nice seed stitch edge. The thumbs end with the same seed stitch edge.

I also have a basic fingerless glove pattern designed for Aran weight yarn.
