Ponchos are all the rage this year and we have one that can serve as your fall and spring coat. This design by Becca Smith is one-half knit and one-half felt using our Apple Creek Yarn and Felt Pelt. You need two hanks of the yarn, (145 yards per hank) and one half of a felt pelt. Both the yarn and the felt are made here in the US from domestic merino and silk. Each felt pelt is unique, and made by hand. This will give you a one of a kind garment like no other! The pattern is included. This knit section is worked on size US 17 (12mm) needles either straight or circular. Once the knitting is finished, you trim the felt and sew the pieces in place, then work around the neck edge with the remaining yarn. Make it today and wear it tomorrow. It’s cozy, warm and may be the piece you reach for every day.
