This lovely little vest is loaded with style, incorporating a variety of cable motifs & a unique back-button closure, sure to make a statement as part of any outfit. Constructed from the bottom up, it is worked flat in one piece to the armholes, then front & backs are worked separately to shape armholes & neck. The back band & buttonholes are worked as you go, and shoulders are finished with a 3-needle bind-off. Finally, stitches are picked up around the neck & armholes to work the finished ribbing.
Charts are provided for each size, as the cabling patterns vary slightly for each size.
This pattern is recommended for the intermediate – advanced knitter, comfortable with reading charts & working with cables.
