This silly Bagnana was my husband’s idea for a mermaid tail alternative!
It comes along quickly by working with a large hook and 3 strands of yarn at once, making it extra snuggly! Post stitches throughout separates each peel along the whole banana, giving it that real look!

Pattern includes 3 sizes with Measurements (Width x Length from bottom to middle peel tip):
Small: 31” x 26”
Medium: 50” x 32”
Large: 66” x 38”

Difficulty: Advanced Beginner - Intermediate

Materials:

  • Size US P (11.5mm) hook
  • Size US H (5.0mm) hook
  • Size US G (4.5mm) hook
  • 12-25 oz Yellow worsted weight yarn (depending on size)
  • Less than a skein of Brown worsted weight yarn
  • Small amount of White worsted weight yarn
  • Tapestry Needle (or any needle large enough to thread worsted yarn)
