Here are some lovely socks based upon a simple one row lace pattern from the Harmony Pattern books. As there are a number of k4tog on each pattern row, it does pull the fabric in and is a more snug sock than you may be used to – if you have lovely slim legs (like my friend Marie, for whom these socks were designed) then these are the socks for you. If you are a little more curvy (like me!), you may choose to use one of the pattern repeats running down the side, or the front – whatever tickles your fancy – and the rest being completed in stocking stitch.

Each sock weighs about 35gms.
