The inspiration for this shawl came from the colors themselves. Waiting for a spring that was late coming, I had a visceral need for vitamin D. This is how “Bain De Soleil” (which mean Sunbath in french) fell from my needles as would a ray of heat on my skin on a summer day.

BISCOTTE YARNS
A – Flamel; 60% merino, 20% nylon and 20% alpaca – 400 m / 100 gr - color Salt & Pepper : 1 skein.
B – Fizwizbiz; 95% merino, 5% silver stellina – 366 m / 100 gr - color Charbon : 1 skein.
C – Hermione; 75% kid mohair, 25% silk – 420 m / 50 gr - color Coupe de Feu : 1 skein.

NEEDLES AND ACCESSOIRES
Circular needles 4mm; US#6 – cable length of 100 cm; 40’’ and +
Stitch markers, Tapestry needle

GAUGE : 18sts = 10 cm; 4’’ in Stockinette Stitch after blocking.
