Baker’s Cove Shawl begins at center back and is worked down and outward from a garter stitch start. The shawl begins with crescent shaping in a contrast color yarn, followed by a rippling textured stitch in either variegated or handpainted yarn, ending with a garter contrast color border. The shawl is named for the colors of sunset over the waters of Baker’s Cove on Long Island Sound.
