Balsam Point Cardigan is a boxy, open front cardigan with a unique construction and fun stitch pattern. Start by knitting the back from the bottom up, and pick up along the side seams for the sideways knit fronts. Add a quick ribbed trim for an easy layering piece or opt for the full length sleeves for a truly cozy knit. The twisted stitch pattern will show up best in solid and semi-solid yarns!

This pattern includes a variety of resources to help you successfully knit up your project. A construction diagram guide is included to help you visualize the unique construction step-by-step. Both charts and written directions are provided for all stitch patterns. A partial repeat worksheet is also provided to help you navigate working “in pattern”, and giving you the ability to have every stitch spelled out. A video tutorial link is included for the 1x1 twists without a cable needle used to create the geometric pattern.
