These fingerless mittens are worked in the round and feature a prominent slipstitch pattern that covers your hands with little stars. Using two strands of a fingering weight yarn held together for MC and a lace-weight-mohairyarn held double opens a variety of colourcombinations. Use similar shades of yarn colours for both MC and CC to gain the desired pattern effect or be brave and try a more spotted version. The pattern contains 3 sizes (S,M,L) and instructions for the ribbing and the slipstitch pattern. Enjoy!

MATERIALS: 1 x 4.5mm/ US 7 circular needles or double pointed needles (choose preferred method!)
1 x marker (for beginning of round)
1 x tapestry needle

YARN: MC: Fingering Weight Yarn & CC: Lace-Weight Mohair Yarn
Both MC and CC held double!
For choosing yarns, I recommend using similar shades of colours for both MC and CC, to get the desired pattern/colour effect.
If you want to use a heavier weight yarn instead of 2 strands of lighter weight yarn, I recommend using a DK or Worsted Weight Yarn, which gives you the correct gauge. Note: If you’ll use DK or Worsted Weight Yarn, you’ll need just about the half of the given amount of yarn.
