Baltic Sea Stole (AC-50)
Faina’s memories of time spent on the shores of the Baltic Sea inspired the name of this lovely lace stole. She cleverly worked increases and decreases into the pattern that allow the seed stitch borders to remain straight while they frame the waves of lace that flow back and forth.
This piece can easily be made wider or narrower by adding or subtraction pattern repeats (15 sts. each) or by changing the yarn weight and needle size. Size changes will effect the yardage requirements.
Yardage: Approximately 900 yards of sport weight mohair or wool yarn. Pattern may also be made in lace weight using a smaller needle.
