This is a great bag for both spinners and knitters alike! I love the trendy bamboo handles with natural colored wool. These handles are standard 4 inch handles that can be purchased at most hobby and craft shops. You can also find this size in wood and tortoiseshell as well as other materials so that this pattern can be made again and again, without ever making the same bag twice! The bottom seam of this bag is gusseted so that you can put lots of things in it and it still looks great. Plus, once you learn the pattern and the felting properties of the wool you use, you can vary the size easily.
This bag measures ABOUT 10¾ inches wide and 10 inches long. I say “about” because with hand felting, and the differences in wool
type, you will need to check your felt progress often, as some wools will felt faster and smaller, and some will take a long time. So size is dependent on the wool’s felting properties and how much you work with it.
