The bamboo st is designed by passing one yo over 2 knit sts across the first round. The next round is only knit sts around. These 2 rounds are repeated.

You may modify the size by adding or removing multiples of 2 sts; but you will need to adapt both the number of rounds and the decreases for shaping.
