An elegant cardigan featuring simple texture and a beautiful leaf pattern on the collar.

FINISHED MEASUREMENTS: Bust - 32 (36, 40, 44, 48, 52)“.
Intended to be worn with 0-2” of ease.
Length - 23 (23, 25, 26½, 27, 27½)”.

YARN: 1135 (1205, 1415, 1595, 1745, 1870) yds worsted weight wool or wool blend.
Shown in Berroco “Inca Gold” (80% wool, 20% silk; 122yds/50gr) - Granate #6243.
Note: This yarn has been discontinued, but any worsted weight wool or wool blend with good stitch definition would be a suitable replacement.

NEEDLES: U.S. size 7 (4.5mm) 32” (80cm) or longer circular needle.
Circular needle is used to accommodate large number of stitches.
Adjust needle size as needed to obtain correct gauge.

OTHER: Cable needle, stitch holders, tapestry needle.

GAUGE: 20 sts/32 rows = 4”, in Faux Rib, lightly blocked.

SKILL LEVEL: Intermediate. Techniques include cables, 3-needle bind off, decreases, and increases.

CONSTRUCTION: The body is worked flat in one piece from the bottom up and then divided for the armholes and worked to the shoulders, which are joined with 3-needle bind off. The set-in sleeves are knit separately from the bottom up and seamed. The collar band is knit along with the fronts and is seamed at the back of the neck. Center front edge is rolled for a corded effect.
