A fun drop-stitch cowl that will knit up super quick. One of four available patterns for a drop-stitch cowl, the Banksia Cowl Narrow is a longer rectangle pattern, written row-by-row, intended to be knit in a loose gauge and use just about all of the 8 ounces of yarn called for!

This is a one-size fits all pattern. There is really no gauge for this accessory - you do not need to match a gauge to get a wearable item - just remember to knit loose.

It uses 8 ounces and 132 yards of Yarn Hollow Burly Hand Dyed Wool Yarn.

This yarn is available at various yarn stores throughout North America. For available stockists, please refer to the shop locator:

It can also be purchased through the Yarn Hollow website:

If you are a tight knitter, you might consider using a size US 17 (12.75 mm) needle for the knitting.

There is a tutorial page at the Yarn Hollow website:

This will show photos of the BWL cast on, how to recognize the base of a dropped stitch, and other techniques used in the pattern.
