This beaded and lace weight shawl is an heirloom the second that it’s finished. The focal stitch is both unique, beautiful and an advanced stitch.

The shawl is knit using lace weight yarn and is perfect for any season.

Skill Level: This is one of my most difficult pattern, so the skill level is obviously advanced. The knitting requires strict attention.

The pattern contains instructions for two different sizes (using different size needles with a different gauge for each.) It also contains two different types of edging (one with beads and one without), as well as two ways to add your beads to the knitting.

The combination will give you as much flexibility within the pattern so that you can make it truly “your-own.” You can select to use a single color of beads or several colors of beads, adding to the unique look of the FO.

This pattern is charted only.

The sample was expertly pattern tested by Deb Terrio, who can be contacted at: jstdt3t@ gmail.com. The sample was knitted using Lorna’s Laces Helen’s Lace yarn, in colorway, Fjord. The beads used in the pattern are size Miyuki size #8 hex beads.

The smaller shawl is the one shown in the pictures.
