Here’s a naughty little bear with her bare bum tucked under her tail. Her buddy, Bare Bum Bunny, is also available in my Ravelry Store.

MATERIALS
  • Worsted weight yarn (medium 4) - I used 74g (2.61 oz) of Lion Brand Yarns, Heartland in Sequoia as the main color - I used 3g (.11 oz) of Loops & Threads, Impeccable in Soft Taupe for his muzzle
  • 4mm hook
  • Fiberfill
  • 12 mm doll safety eyes in brown (Not for children under 3. If you are making this for a smaller child please embroider or needle felt the eyes on)
  • 20mm safety animal nose in black (Not for children under 3. If you are making this for a smaller child please embroider or needle felt the nose)
  • Doll making needle (or whatever needle you like to hide your ends and shape your bottom, and sew your muzzle in place)

    GAUGE

Gauge is not important for this pattern. Just make sure it’s tight so your fiberfill doesn’t show through your stitches. If you are a loose hooker, you might want to go down an additional hook size to compensate for this.
To give you an idea of size, my bear measures about 11.5” from the top of her head to the bottom of her feet.
