This is a super quick, stash-buster pattern for these very cute ‘barefoot sandals’. You can also wear these with your flip flops for some extra flair.

Each pair takes less than 10 grams of yarn (35-40 yards); these sandals are a great way to use up leftover sock yarn or try out new colors/brands of yarn in the popular mini skeins. You can customize the length of the ties if you want to criss-cross them around your leg too – what a fun look for the beach this summer!

I used leftover superwash sock yarn for these, but you could also use a fingering or sport-weight cotton yarn if you prefer. The sport weight will make the sandal a bit bigger and thicker, but still very wearable - just a different look.
