What could be better than a squishy, warm textured cowl?

One that knits up quickly using only 1 skein of a 100g DK weight yarn maybe? Ideal for gift knitting or for a gratifyingly quick knit for yourself.

1 skein is ample for a single loop, easy to wear cowl but if you happen to have 2 skeins then this also looks great as a double loop cowl - ideal if you like extra snuggly warmth.

The textured stitch is fun and straightforward to work once you get the hang of it, but the pattern includes a short video of the step that you might find tricky, just to help explain it further.
