I named this one the Basic Biscuit Body because the shape reminds me of a Milano cookie. I love that this body seems to have no beginning or end. This one was really fun to turn sideways and lengthwise and always come out with a good-looking critter. And it includes a knitting technique I am totally in love with—the Turkish cast on was designed to make this shape possible. If you haven’t tried this technique before, I encourage you to learn a new, surprisingly easy technique. I even made sure to include a video online to help you get going. See “Where to Go for Help” in the book. I hope this shape inspires you to come up with all kinds of biscuity-shaped creations, or at least go eat some biscuits.
