This pattern is written for an adult cat size. You can make it larger or smaller by adding to the foundation rows however you may need to adjust the placement of the ear holes. You could also use a smaller hook or lighter weight yarn to achieve a smaller size.

Just about any worsted weight yarn will do and it doesn’t take much for the hat itself. The pom pom requires almost as much yarn as the body of the hat.
