Yarn: 125 (140, 165, 190) yds DK weight yarn

The original sample was made with the following: 1 skein Berroco Vintage DK (52% Acrylic, 40% Wool, 8% Nylon; 290yds/100g). Try our Hand Dyed Diva DK or Homegrown DK yarns for this fun pattern set!

Needles: US 5 (3.75 mm) needles in preferred style for small circumference knitting in the round, OR SIZE NEEDED TO OBTAIN THE CORRECT GAUGE.

Notions: Stitch markers, scrap yarn to use as stitch holder, tapestry needle

GAUGE

24 sts and 32 rows = 4” in Stockinette stitch, after blocking.

FINISHED MEASUREMENTS

To fit adult size S (M, L, XL)

CONSTRUCTION NOTE

The mitts/mittens are knit in the round from the cuff up. The right hand and left hand mitts/mittens are identical.

M1L Make 1 Left: Insert left needle, from front to back, under strand of yarn which runs between next stitch on left needle and last stitch on right needle; knit this stitch through back loop. 1 stitch increased.
