It’s a dainty French beret, basically black and precisely formed, quick and very easy to knit. The i-cord edge holds it on your head comfortly.
The bead ornament is sewn on after the knitting, but feel free to knit the beads in if you prefer it that way.
I feel this beret pattern will be very useful in many variations, of different colors and with different details.
