This hat knits up quickly in any worsted weight yarn. It’s a good basic template for trying out fun designs. Add stripes, a ribbed edge or embellish the top with a pom-pom or I-cord. Let your imagination run wild! This is a great project for the beginning knitter.

Size 7 (4.5mm) - 16” (40cm) circular needles, or size necessary to achieve gauge
