Great to have as a quick-knit gift, this Basic Hat From Measurements pattern allows you to knit a rolled, ribbed, or folded ribbed brim. All you need are a few measurements, and you’ll have a hat before you know it!

5 sts/in. 90 yd 160 yd 240 yd
6 sts/in. 120 yd 230 yd 330 yd
7 sts/in. 130 yd 270 yd 450 yd

Tapestry needle
Stitch markers
16” circular needles in size needed to get desired gauge
1 set double-pointed needles in same size

Measure the circumference of the wearer’s head in inches and the number of stitches per inch on your gauge swatch to determine the number of yards needed for your hat.
