This is my favorite hat to knit for charity because it is fast and super warm, and works for men and women of all ages. When I’m wearing it I’ll usually fold the edge back to make a cuff, but when men wear it they tend to wear it without the folded back cuff (though really, it can be worn either way- its a style thing I guess).

In the past I have given this pattern away for free, so you may be wondering why I’m now charging for it. 100% of funds raised through purchases of this hat will be donated to the Second Harvest Food Bank of Northwest NC. My hometown- Winston-Salem, NC - was just named the worst place in the country for hungry kids and the food banks shelves are often completely empty.
