Basic toe up socks, with a fish lips kiss heel (available for ravelry download for $1 by sox therapist: http://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/fish-lips-kiss-heel).

Knit in the round except for the heel (fish lips kiss heel).
It is easy to adjust length for slightly smaller or longer feet.

Materials needed:
DK yarn held double (I used Teddy Avril, approx 65g total, both CC and MC)
4mm 32” circular needle for magic looping
2 stitch markers
tapestry needle
scissors

Knitting in the round (magic loop)
Knit front and back (Kfb)
Fish Lips Kiss Heel
K1, P1 ribbing
Stretchy yarn over bind off in ribbing

I think these are great for learning toe up socks as they grow fast and aren’t too fiddly with 4ply yarn and tiny needles, also a great way to learn the fish lips kiss heel as it’s easy to see and only goes over a few stitches.
