You’ll enjoy knitting this elegant shawl wrap with a lacy body and scallop border.

The enjoyable main lace pattern reminded me of fresh basil leaves, hence the name!

Notes:
Center of shawl is knit as a diagonal piece beginning at the corner and increasing to the center point, the mirror half is shaped with short rows. The border is continued from the bottom edges.

Yarn: 11 skeins Zealana Performa Kiwi Lace* (217 yds/199m, 1.4oz/40g, 40% New Zealand merino/30% organic cotton, 30% brushtail possum) Shown in #13 winter green

Needles: US 7 (4.5mm) and US 8 (5mm) 32” (80cm) or longer circular needles, or size to obtain gauge and one size larger
