Rated: Adventurous Beginner

Materials Needed:
Worsted Weight Scarf - 3 balls Poems (Wisdom Yarns) (327yds) Size US 6 (4.50mm) needles Fingering Weight Scarf – 1- 100gm ball of Poems sock yarn for fingering weight scarf. You will be able to get 2 out of one ball. Size US 4 (3.50mm) needles You will also need for both 5 small stitch holders

Gauge: Is not a big issue with this project. The worsted weight scarf as shown in pattern measures 6” wide, the scarf body between the woven fingers measures 30” long in pattern without stretching. The fingering weight scarf as shown in pattern measures 4” wide and the scarf body between the woven fingers measures 26” long. You can make them as long or as short as you wish. I have knit the sock yarn scarf on a size 0 & 2 needle. It was amazing to wear with my outfit for the day. I also have knit the worsted weight scarf on a size 9 and it looked wonderful. So don’t worry too much about gauge, this patterns has many options.

This scarf is knit in one piece from point to point. The fingers are knit one by one and placed on stitch holders. When all 5 fingers are knit you put them back on the needle and continue the body of scarf. When the next set of fingers are knit you will weave them through the first set and put the stitches back on the needle to complete the other point. Once you bind off you are done. No blocking required.
