No matter what the occasion, whether you want to store your knick knacks or whether it’s time for a photo shoot, this pattern will enable you to create a quick and easy basket in a perfect size.

The base can be made round or oval and the depth can be adjusted to suit your needs.

You can even add handles if you want them.

YOU WILL NEED yarn, an appropriate hook, 4 stitch markers and a needle for neatening ends.

Note: This pattern can be worked in any yarn to any size which makes it difficult for me to complete the yarn and gauge sections. However, a selection of yarn types, quantities and basket sizes are included in the pattern. You may also view the chart in the attached pictures.

When the basket is complete, you may trim as desired - the vine (as shown in sample) and a flower embellishment are included.

The red basket uses ribbon roses (pattern for these not included).
