Transform your favourite lace weight yarn into this light-weight top with lattice lace around the shoulders and elegant, softly curved capped sleeves. This pullover is knit flat in one piece from hem to hem, then folded and seamed on the sides. You will enjoy making the neck opening, worked into the lace pattern seamlessly along the shoulder line.

If you love the look of reverse Stockinette, and if you are eyeing or already have in your stash some beautiful hand-dyed lace yarns, you will find that the simplicity of this design is just what you need. One side of the top is in simple reverse Stockiette stitch, contrasted by the subtle texture of small twised cables across Stockinette stitch on the other side. Either side can be worn as the front.

The hem sits just below waist, making this a versatile piece in your handmade wardrobe, easy to wear with your dress, skirt, pants or shorts. Make it in cotton, linen, silk or light-weight wool for a breezy summer top.
