Each year, I design a holiday project. For 2015, I give you ornaments, baubles, and balls. Oh my! The socks are festive, with colorful corrugated ribbing, holly and sparkly ornaments. You can even add beads for extra glitz. Because the socks are stranded using fingering-weight wool, they have double the yarn for added warmth without bulk. This is a festive season, and cpainter used some traditional seasonal colors, but you can knit your Baubles & Balls Socks with any colors you desire. I like the idea of reds, purples and orange, but you can use blues and silver or any colors you please. If you have left-over Palette from the year’s knitting, use it to knit colorful ornaments in your socks. And look for the matching Baubles and Balls Slouchy Hat pattern.
