I absolutely love Cookie A’s Baudelaire sock pattern found at Knitty.com. So one day while knitting a pair of fingerless mitts, I thought wouldn’t the Baudelaire lace pattern look gorgeous on a pair of fingerless mitts? Thus the Baudelaire Gauntlets were born. Trailing alongside the main pattern is a mock cable that adds elegance without adding difficulty. The directions are the way that I adapted the lace pattern into the mitts that are pictured. It assumes some familiarity with knitting fingerless mitts or gloves. Enjoy!
