This hat is knit holding two strands of worsted weight yarn together as one. For the blue, I used Bendigo Woolen Mills Mariner’s Blue, and Filatura Lanarota blue #729 held together as one. These are a fairly dark blue/green heather (the 729) and a lighter blue (the Mariner’s blue). For the green, I used Custom Woolen Mills sage heather two-ply. The white is my own handspun. Use any yarns you choose, in any colors. If you wish to add depth to the colors, hold two strands of different shades of the same color together as I did with the blue. But be free to take this only as a suggestion and discover your own colorways. These yarns are natural wool, which I love, but again, experiment, explore, knit and be wonderful!
