What I’ve learnt form babies and their sizes is that they are different. So, I strongly suggest that you measure the little one’s palm and knit a swatch, at least for the lace pattern. I’d say that these gloves fit for 6 months old babies to toddlers a bit over a year. My petit girl is almost a year by the time of photographing and the gloves are a bit oversized for her.

Of course you may vary the size by changing the needle size or changing for thicker yarn.
