Just in time for Valentines Day, “Be Mine” reflects the romance you feel towards your true love! The crescent shape hugs your shoulders and the lace edging reminds us that we enjoy being a woman. The gorgeous color is Assockilate’s “Ribbon Candy”, which was a joy to work with.

Knit from the top down, the center panel uses the Broderie Anglaise stitch to add pretty little rows of eyelets. Lace edging is added last and is joined as you go to the main body of the shawl, eliminating the need for a final bind off.

My pattern includes a step by step photo tutorial for creating the Broderie Anglaise stitch. There is also a video on YouTube if you need further help. Detailed instructions also include a schematic for blocking, stitch guide and metric measurements.
