this is a pretty simple blanket that just uses colors inspired from the beach, simple stripes and a variety of stitches for texture. While there is a ‘front’ and ‘back’, I like that the back still looks nice. There is an optional crochet edge around it, but if you have strategies for creating nice edges with striping, you may not need it.
