The beach hut doorstop is made up of one long side which starts at the roof, goes down the side across the base, up the other side and then finishes at the other side of the roof. You then attach the front and back pieces. Another roof piece is added onto the top to finish.

Requires approx 400m blue yarn (2 balls Sirdar Cotton DK Bluebird 515), 200m each of white and red yarn (1 ball Mill White 501 and Galore Red 510), and oddments of five other colours for decorations (suggested colours Light Taupe 504, Darling Bud 509, Sundance 507, Hot Pink 511 and Honeysuckle 508).

Other notions required:

  • 1 button, 10mm diameter
  • A packet of rice/dried lentils for weight
  • Polyester stuffing
  • Small amounts of coloured felt (optional)
