Beach Pebbles Scarf by Mimi Alelis

Beach Pebbles Scarf

This is one of three scarf designs made for summer season or for tropical climate.
Smart-looking, practical and comfortable, done in cotton thread size 8.
The stitches and design of this scarf were chosen for its soft and lovely drape effect.
Scarf can be made in a regular size using two balls thread, or skinny version, requiring only one ball of thread.
Gauge is not so important for this project, but the use of a larger hook (4mm) than recommended for the thread, makes for a lighter, softer fabric.
All edging is built-in, work is continuous from start to finish. Row 1 makes up the edging plus the first row of ch-5 loops, and is worked vertically going up the long edge of the scarf. The next rows are worked across this long edge.

Pattern includes complete written instructions.
