Beach wood is a quick knit that uses only knit and purl stitches to create a nice texture and design. It takes less than 1 skein of yarn, making it practical.

Skills used:
k- knit
p- purl
yo- yarn over
sl1pw- slip one purl wise
pssok1yo- pass the slipped stitch over the k1 and yarn over.
k2tog- knit two stitches together

It has been brought to my attention that some people suggest my needle choices are incorrect. My needles choices are just that, what I chose. If you don’t agree with them, go down a size or do what works for you. I wanted the hat loose, and designed it to be that way. Thanks!
