Simple pattern for place-mats. All it is is a rectangle with shell edging. The inspiration for the colors chosen was the beach. The finished size is about 16” x 12.“ I believe I used 3 - 4 skeins of Lily Sugar’nCream 2.5 oz/70.9 g cotton yarn in jute for four place-mats; and small amounts of Lily Sugar’nCream in white, hot blue, and turquoise for the edging. Hooks used: K for beginning chain and I for the rest of the project. You can go up or down hook sizes to obtain a smaller or larger place-mat. Just make sure you either make the starting chain loose or go up a hook size or two.
